7-Layer Taco Dip

This vibrant 7-Layer Taco Dip combines creamy, spicy, and fresh ingredients to create an irresistible party appetizer perfect for sharing.

Ingredients

  • 1 can (16 oz) refried beans
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup guacamole
  • 1 cup salsa
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup chopped tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup sliced black olives
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro (optional)

Instructions

  1. Spread the refried beans evenly on the bottom of a serving dish.
  2. Layer the sour cream over the beans, spreading gently.
  3. Spread the guacamole as the third layer.
  4. Pour and spread the salsa over the guacamole layer evenly.
  5. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the salsa.
  6. Top with chopped tomatoes, sliced black olives, and green onions.
  7. Garnish with fresh cilantro if desired.
  8. Chill for 1 hour before serving for best flavor.
  9. Serve with tortilla chips.

Notes

For extra heat, add a layer of diced jalapeños or use spicy salsa. This dip is best served chilled and can be prepared a few hours ahead.
