Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 8 oz flank steak, sliced thin
  • 8 oz large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons blackened seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil, divided
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a bowl, toss the sliced flank steak and shrimp separately with blackened seasoning until evenly coated.
  3. Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steak slices and cook for 2-3 minutes per side or until desired doneness. Remove from skillet and keep warm.
  4. Add remaining 1 tablespoon olive oil to the same skillet. Add the shrimp and cook for 1-2 minutes per side until pink and opaque. Remove and set aside.
  5. Reduce heat to medium and melt butter in the skillet. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  6. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and sauce thickens. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Add cooked pasta to the Alfredo sauce, tossing to coat evenly.
  8. Return steak and shrimp to the skillet, combining gently with pasta and sauce.
  9. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

For extra heat, sprinkle a pinch of cayenne pepper over the steak and shrimp before cooking or serve with a side of garlic bread.
