Chicken Kebabs

Succulent chicken pieces marinated in flavorful spices and grilled to perfection, these Chicken Kebabs make a delicious and healthy meal option.

Ingredients

  • 500g boneless chicken breast, cut into cubes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground coriander
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Skewers (wooden or metal)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, cumin, paprika, chili powder, coriander, lemon juice, salt, and pepper to create the marinade.
  2. Add the chicken cubes to the marinade and mix well until fully coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  3. If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 30 minutes to prevent burning.
  4. Thread the marinated chicken pieces onto the skewers evenly.
  5. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  6. Grill the kebabs for 10–12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is fully cooked and slightly charred.
  7. Remove from grill and let rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For added flavor, serve with a side of tzatziki sauce or fresh salad. You can also add vegetables like bell peppers and onions to the skewers for variety.
