Garlic Butter Salmon

This Garlic Butter Salmon is a quick and flavorful dish featuring tender salmon fillets cooked in a rich garlic butter sauce, perfect for an easy weeknight dinner.

  • 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Pat salmon fillets dry and season both sides with salt and black pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add salmon, skin-side down, and cook for 4-5 minutes until crispy; flip and cook another 3-4 minutes until cooked through. Remove salmon and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and melt butter.
  5. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn.
  6. Stir in lemon juice and dried parsley.
  7. Return salmon to the skillet and spoon the garlic butter sauce over the fillets.
  8. Cook for an additional minute, then remove from heat and serve immediately.

Notes

For an extra burst of flavor, garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve with steamed vegetables or a side of rice.
