Lemon Pepper Wings

Crispy and zesty, these Lemon Pepper Wings are perfectly seasoned with fresh lemon and cracked black pepper for a flavorful appetizer or snack.

  • 2 lbs chicken wings
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon lemon zest
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with foil or parchment paper.
  2. Toss the chicken wings with olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and lemon zest until evenly coated.
  3. Arrange wings in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 35-40 minutes, flipping halfway through, until wings are crispy and cooked through.
  5. Remove wings from oven and immediately toss with fresh lemon juice.
  6. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired and serve hot.

Notes

For extra crispiness, you can broil the wings for an additional 2-3 minutes at the end of baking. Serve with celery sticks and blue cheese dressing for a classic pairing.
