These Loaded Philly Cheesesteak Sliders combine tender steak, melted cheese, and sautéed peppers on soft slider buns for a delicious, crowd-pleasing appetizer or meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ribeye steak, thinly sliced
  • 8 slider buns
  • 1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 medium onion, thinly sliced
  • 8 slices provolone cheese
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • Optional: mayonnaise or ketchup for serving

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add sliced onions and peppers, and sauté until tender and caramelized, about 8 minutes.
  2. Season the ribeye slices with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  3. Add the seasoned steak to the skillet with the vegetables, cooking until the steak is browned and cooked through, about 4-5 minutes.
  4. Stir in Worcestershire sauce and cook for an additional minute, then remove from heat.
  5. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Slice slider buns in half horizontally and lay the bottom halves on a baking sheet.
  6. Evenly distribute the steak and pepper mixture over the bottoms of the buns.
  7. Top each with a slice of provolone cheese, then cover with the tops of the buns.
  8. Wrap the entire tray of sliders with foil and bake for 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted.
  9. Serve warm with optional mayonnaise or ketchup.

Notes

For extra flavor, add sautéed mushrooms or pickled jalapeños to your sliders before baking.
