Mini Mushroom Swiss Sliders

These Mini Mushroom Swiss Sliders are savory, juicy, and topped with sautéed mushrooms and melted Swiss cheese, perfect for a crowd-pleasing appetizer or snack.

  • 12 mini slider buns
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 8 oz sliced mushrooms
  • 1 cup Swiss cheese, shredded
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Optional: mayonnaise or mustard for spread

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped onion and garlic; sauté until translucent.
  3. Add sliced mushrooms, cook until softened and any moisture has evaporated. Set aside.
  4. Season ground beef with salt and pepper and form into 12 small patties that fit slider buns.
  5. Cook patties in a skillet over medium-high heat for about 3-4 minutes per side, or until desired doneness.
  6. Place cooked patties on the bottom halves of the slider buns.
  7. Top each patty with sautéed mushrooms and a generous amount of shredded Swiss cheese.
  8. Place sliders on a baking sheet, cover partially with foil, and bake for 5-7 minutes until cheese melts.
  9. Add optional mayonnaise or mustard on the top half of the buns, then assemble sliders.
  10. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

For an extra flavor boost, try adding caramelized onions or a spread of garlic aioli to the sliders before serving.
