Vegan Brownies

Deliciously rich and fudgy vegan brownies made without any dairy or eggs, perfect for a guilt-free dessert or snack.

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup dairy-free chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×8 inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add the water, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract. Stir until just combined and smooth.
  4. Fold in the dairy-free chocolate chips if using.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
  6. Bake for 25–30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  7. Allow to cool completely in the pan before cutting into squares and serving.

Notes

For extra richness, serve with a scoop of vegan vanilla ice cream or a drizzle of dairy-free caramel sauce.
